GUYS! Stop whatever you are doing right now. You all know I did a review this last week for Pucked by Helena Hunting. It was awesomely pure and freaking fantastic. Well guess what?! Today she is here for our awesome #WCW!
Who is Helena Hunting?
NYT and USA Today bestselling author of The PUCKED Series, Helena Hunting lives on the outskirts of Toronto with her incredibly tolerant family and two moderately intolerant cats. She’s writes contemporary romance ranging from new adult angst to romantic sports comedy. She likes to play Scrabble in her spare but her husband doesn’t like how competitive she is about it so she resorts to Candy Crush instead.

Now for the questions:
I know you from your recent Hockey series, what can you tell us about your other novels?
I have the Clipped Wings series, which is angsty new adult about a tortured tattoo artist. It was my first series and it launched in 2014. I also have another romantic comedy—non-sports based—about a high school librarian who accidentally shows her principal her collection of photoshopped porn. His head happens to be on all the bodies. Oops.
Currently, I’m working on a new romantic comedy now, outside of The Pucked Series that I’m super excited about.
Erotica or traditional romance? To read, not to write ;]
I guess I like traditional romance, because I read for the relationship unfolding, not just the hot sexy times.
Out of all of your novels is there one you wish you could change?
That’s an interesting question. I guess I could go back and make changes, but then that’s like telling the people who really enjoyed the story that they were wrong to like it the way it was. Like everything, writing is a learning process, and taking the feedback and applying it to future work is the most productive thing I can do.
What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment as an author?
Hitting NYT with Pucked was pretty amazing, but beyond that it’s about perseverance and learning how to ride with the tide, I suppose. Last week we released a book written by 13 different authors called Felony Ever After. It’s something that’s never been done before, and I think it’s been a highly positive experience. The feedback has been positive and amazing, which is exactly what we hoped for. It’s a project I’m very proud of.
Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest? Give us some recommendations!
Katherine Stevens, Nina Bocci and SM Lumetta are three debut authors who got their feet wet with Felony Ever After. They were absolutely amazing and I’m so excited for their solo releases coming this year!
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Thank you! I wouldn’t be here without them, doing this amazingly fulfilling thing I’m doing without my readers and thank you for taking the time to interview me.
Here’s a little something extra for you guys! This last month Helena released two books!
Forever Pucked which is the fourth book in the Pucked series and the technically not so technically sequel book to Pucked (the first book in the series). Here are some totally awesome teasers for you!
Also, I have the cover here for Felony Ever after, the 13 author book that Helena talks about in her interview. Doesn’t it look awesome?!
